To the lady who wrote to the editor complaining that Mesa County needs emissions: All you need to do is step outside and take a deep breath to know what the real pollution problem here is. I never smell car exhaust when I walk out my door, but I always smell wood smoke. If Mesa County wants cleaner air, someone needs to enforce a no-burn policy. I’m sure everyone knows someone who burns every day, no matter what the air quality.
